This is the start of my how to build a profitable blog in your spare time and have it set up in a way that generates you traffic, leads and sales 24-7.
Since 2012, I have learned a lot about blogging from my successful blogs and also all the unsuccessful ones, too.
I am going to lay out what I do and how I do it, so you can “Model” (NOT COPY) what I am doing to earn thousands of dollars of extra income from my blog, while working a full-time job as a landscaper working all day in the hot sun with an on the go busy lifestyle.
If you don’t believe me, just check out the recent screen shot of my inbox or my primary online business.
I am also hitting the leader boards for the tools I promote.
I am not #1 but this is a great second stream of income from my blog.
Income Disclaimer – Results are not typical. I just want to show you what is possible for you if you really take blogging seriously. You may make more, faster than me or you may slack off and make none at all. It’s all up to you. I am just here to show you how I do it to get these results.
Blogging is not hard, there is just a learning curve in the beginning and it takes persistence and consistent effort.
I am going to expose some of the common mistakes I see and have made in the past when people start their blog.
Blogging Mistakes to Avoid
DO NOT EVER copy and paste any type of content that you did not personally write.
The search engines are very smart and can track duplicate content. If they detect your blog has a percentage of duplicate content, you could get a penalty from the search engines which will make it even harder to get good ranking on the search engines.
Plus, you will be stealing other people’s work and if it is copyrighted and they found out that you used it without permission you could possible get sued.
The bottom line is simply don’t copy and paste other articles or blog posts on to your. Just write a description and just share the link to the page you like.
If you really like the content and want to share it on your blog, just simply put your own personal spin on it and rewrite the article in your own words.
I know it is going to be tough to write a long detailed post with, one – two thousand words. So just start small and get the hang of it.
The more you blog the easier it gets, you will develop your own personal style of writing and the more you write the more ideas you will have and you will get better and better over time.
One of the BIGGEST mistakes I made when I first started blogging was not being consistent.
Sometimes I would post 2-4 blog post in one day and go 2-3 weeks without posting another one.
For the best and fastest results, I recommend writing a new post every day for the first 90 days to get your blog well established in Google to build authority and trust, which leads to getting higher rankings on the search engines, faster.
Also a lot of people want instant and fast results from a blog, but the truth and reality is. The work and effort you are putting in now is going to pay off over the next few weeks when your blog get ranked on the top of the search results for particular “Buyer Keywords”.
The only thing you can do is keep your blog active and structure your blog in a way that Google loves.
The goal of your blog
Your goal is going to be, get multiple blog posts ranked on the search engines for particular keywords that will get highly targeted prospects to your blog that is ready to buy what you are selling.
The more you blog, the more results you are going to get. Within your first 90 days you will be generating a few hundred views a month, imaging if you blog everyday for 2-3 years and have hundreds of post getting you thousands of interested prospects to your blog as you continue to earn streams of income, virtually hands free 24-7.
To achieve that goal, there are a few key skills you need to learn to make blogging profitable for you too.
- How to set up your blog.
- How to target the right people at the right time.
- How to find the perfect keywords.
- How to structure your blog in a way the search engines love.
- How to SEO optimize your blog posts.
- How to promote your blog posts.
This is what took me over 3 years to really learn and master and over the next few weeks, I am going to be sharing all this with you so you can have an online income generating machine working for you 24-7.

The very first and MOST important thing we need is a blog. The worst thing about blogging is getting it all set up. - Start Blogging (Posts > Add New)
This is where the magic starts to happen.
Before we get into what we are going to blog about first, you want to form an outline and plan your post’s ahead of time so you know what you are going to blog about and this will keep structure through out your blog.
What I like to do is start by adding a category and focus on my first few post related to that category and then add new category’s when you need to.
For example, I would create a new category titled Le-Vel Thrive.
Then I will focus on writing posts that are related to that category.
I will start out with a post titled Le-Vel Thrive Review of the company and the products, then is Le-Vel thrive a scam?, What is the Le-Vel thrive experience, How does it work, how to take the products, Share my own personal thrive experience and other people’s thrive stories and testimonials.
The reason I do that, so I can interlink my post to make it more user-friendly and easy to navigate, which the search engines loves.
More on that later into the training series.
