Now is the time to get serious and really commit to learning these skills, I am going to be teaching you in this volume of my blogging training series.
The last training Vol 1, was all about setting up, customizing your blog, adjusting some setting and adding a few pages such as, about, contact and opportunity page.
If you missed the first blogging training, just click on the blue text, “blogging training” and I will take you right there.
Now… Let’s get down to business.
Are you ready?
The very first thing we need to do is keyword research, and here is why…
You want to focus on finding keywords, your prospects will be typing in the search engines to find out more information about the products and opportunity you are promoting.
Keywords are what people are typing in the search bar of major search engines, looking for a product or solution to their problems.
If you can just think of it as, you are a problem solvers and have a product or information to help them solve their problem, you will be ahead of the game.
When I first started blogging, my goal was to write a 750 word article and publish it and soon I will get visitors to my blog. (Hopefully)
I was writing about random stuff, just to reach my 750 words. I really had no idea or direction, I was just writing what I though people wanted to hear.
Then after a few months, I was wondering why I was not getting more traffic to my blog. So I went out and tried to search for my blog on Google and nothing ever came up, not even on page 47 of the search results.
It broke my heart. I had some very late nights and a couple hundred bucks invested in that blog.
But that was the lesson I needed to learn at that time.
Your break through is on the other side of the problem that is holding you back.
Most people would have thrown the towel in and gave up and said it doesn’t work.
I just ran into a problem that I needed to solve, so I went out and started watching videos and reading blog posts on SEO and taught myself how to do it through watching videos, investing in blogging training and purchasing audio books on blogging.
Then over the next few months it all started to come together for me.
First I needed to find and target market, the right people at the right time.
I learned from a mentor of mine, if you sell to everyone you will sell to no one.
That lead me to doing keyword research in pursuit of finding highly searched and low competition keywords and learned how to implement SEO to get my blogs ranked on the top of the search engines and my blog posts in front of red hot prospects at the right time that is able and willing to buy what I was promoting.
Then I set my blog up in a ways, that automatically walks the prospects through the buying cycle and I earn commissions off my blog 24/7/365.
Now that’s what I like to call the Modernized Lifestyle.
So now, I am going to reveal and teach you how to find the best keywords to come up with a good title for your blog post.
Before I start doing my keyword research, I have an idea in my head of a broad keyword phrase about what I am going to write about and I just simply perform a search for the keywords and then I find the best keyword phrase to get ranked in the search engines, in the least amount of time.
What I look for is, how many people are searching for this particular keyword phrase to see if it is even worth the time and effort to write a blog post for that keyword.
When I identify there is a good amount of people a month searching for it, the next thing I do is, look at the competition. How many other people have videos, blogs and articles competing for the same terms.
There is no sense trying to fight thousands of people for the top 3 spots in the search engines for the highest searched keyword phrase, when you can dominate the rankings of keywords no one knows about, because they do not know about the Jaxxy keyword tool.
Whats really awesome about the keyword tool I have been using since 2012 is that it tells you all that plus more details and secret info no one else can find out without this tool.
Check it out, I just did a search for “Small Home Based Business Ideas” Look what I can up with.
Who ever though Creative Home Based Business Ideas would get 11,786 monthly searches with only 54 competing websites for this keyword phrase.
ding, Ding, DING! You just struck an online gold mine.
Plus it also gives you related keywords and helps you come up with a better idea than you had.
If you have a home-based business opportunity you were offering to over 11k people per month with just one blog post, how much do you think you can make off about 2-3 hours of work writing a post and getting it ranked for that keyword phrase?
A whole hell of a lot more than working at a dead-end job, in less time.
I have been personally finding so many awesome keywords, I don’t have time to create the content for them.
I highly recommend the Jaaxy Keyword Tool to you. It is very powerful and efficient and very affordable and will defiantly give you the leading edge and level the competition.

Blog Post SEO
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization.
All that means is that you need to optimize your blog and blog posts, so the search engines know what your content is about, so it knows where to place you in the search engine results.
It’s not hard.. I will walk you through it right now.
All you really have to do is make sure you have your keywords in a few specific places.
Let’s start from the top and work down.
The headline is more than just the title of your blog post.
You want to make the title of your blog post, grab attention and stand out in the search engines results to get more attention, clicks and views.
You also want to make sure you have the keyword in the headline.
Check out this post on “
You have a road map to show you how to do it the right way, from the beginning.
Next you want to make sure you have your keyword in the..
The URL is your blogs address.
For example, the URL for this blog is http://modernizedlifestyle.com
Usually when you enter in the title of your blog post, it will automatically become the blog posts URL.
Such as www.yourblog.com/your-keywords-here
This is VERY important and critical to your SEO.
Next start writing your blog post.
When you are writing your blog posts, you want to add your keywords throughout your content and also in a few headlines.
I also like to bold, italic and underline the keywords to make them stand out to the search engines.
You can check out my complete SEO guide here.
I know everyone has different writing style, but I recommend spacing out your content instead of big bulky paragraphs.
It is easier to read and looks better on mobile devices.
I also like to break the content down into sections and when I move on to the next paragraph I separate with a heading.
After your finished writing your blog post, there are a few more things you need to do, before you hit publish.
Add different types of categories and then add the blog post to related categories.
You also want to add a few different tags with variations of your keyword in the tags.
Under your blog post you will see a SEO section where you need to add a SEO Title, SEO Keywords and SEO Description.
The SEO Title is what will appear in the search results, try to make it stand out to your ideal prospects so they will come to your blog to find out more.
SEO Keywords and that, enter 3-5 keywords for the search engines to identify your blog post.
SEO Description is the small description that is shown on the search engine results, make sure you implement your keywords in the description and write what the blog post is about.
Then make sure your proof read everything a few times and run a spell check.
Then hit publish.
Congratulations for writing your first blog post.
Just keep on following implementing these techniques and post a new blog at least 3 times a week. For the first 90 days, I recommend shooting for a new post every day.
You can do it.
It may seem like a lot right now, but once you do it a few times, it becomes a habit and you automatically do it.
So I know it might seem tough and frustrating in the beginning, but hang in there and keep push forward.
Take it step by step.
Before you know it, you start to get visitors, leads and commission. It takes a while to really start seeing results, but stick with it and take it step by step and do the best you can do.
If you have any questions, comments or feedback.
I urge you to leave them in the comment section below.
